The Claas Lexion 8800 stands as one of the largest Class 10 heavy-duty combine harvesters manufactured by Claas, engineered specifically for high-capacity harvesting in large-scale agricultural operations. Powered by a high-output 16.2-liter MAN six-cylinder engine generating up to 700 horsepower, the machine utilizes Claas's Dynamic Power system to automatically adjust output based on workload, maximizing fuel efficiency during varying field conditions. At the core of its harvesting performance is the APS Synflow Hybrid threshing and secondary separation system. This design pairs a massive 755 mm threshing drum with an accelerator drum to smoothly speed up crop flow before feeding dual ROTO PLUS eccentric rotors for secondary separation, allowing immense throughput while preserving straw quality. To handle this high volume, the Lexion 8800 features a grain tank capacity of up to 18,000 liters paired with an unloading rate reaching 180 liters per second. It is available with either traditional wheeled undercarriages or the TerraTrac rubber track system, which provides increased traction and floating flotation to minimize soil compaction across soft terrain. Inside the cab, advanced CEMOS automation technology continuously monitors and automatically optimizes threshing, separation, and cleaning settings in real time to maintain maximum efficiency.
