🧤 THE VARIANT I MENTIONED IN THE VIDEO — for dry, cracked knuckles
When your knuckles split in winter or your hands stay tight and rough no matter how much cream you use, swap what goes under the glove for a denser balm:
• 2 tablespoons shea butter (or cocoa butter)
• 1 tablespoon coconut oil
• 1 teaspoon almond oil (allergic to tree nuts? use sunflower oil)
Melt the butter and the coconut oil in a bowl over a double boiler on very low heat. Take it off the heat, stir in the almond oil, pour into a clean little jar and let it set.
At night: warm a pea-sized amount between your palms, work it into the knuckles, the finger joints and the roughest spots, then cotton gloves on. Use it 2 to 3 nights a week, or whenever the dryness is intense. It keeps 2 to 3 months in a cool, dry place (not the bathroom).
Patch test on your forearm first and wait 24 hours. Don't put it on open cracks that bleed — see a doctor for those.
Your hands give your age away before your face does — thin skin, almost no padding, decades of sun and fifteen washes a day. A spoonful of castor oil and a cheap cotton glove won't erase an old spot in a week, but in seven nights the skin around it can look softer, fuller and calmer.

🌙 THE CASTOR OIL GLOVE — TONIGHT
1. Warm water (never hot) and a gentle soap. Dry your hands completely, even between the fingers.
2. About ½ teaspoon of plain cold-pressed castor oil for both hands. Too thick? Mix it with the same amount of hand cream or a few drops of olive oil. Warm it between your palms.
3. Massage from the fingertips toward the wrist — knuckles, the sides of each finger, the back of the hand. About 1 minute, gently.
4. Thin cotton gloves on. Keep two pairs: wear one, wash one.
5. Every morning: sunscreen on the backs of your hands. That's the half that keeps spots from switching back on.
📸 Take a photo of the backs of your hands tonight, by a window in daylight. Take the same photo after night 7 and compare.

⚠️ PLEASE READ
• Patch test castor oil on the inside of your wrist and wait 24 hours. Redness, burning or itching = don't use it.
• No essential oils in it. No castor oil on your face if you break out.
• Eczema, bleeding cracks or signs of infection: check with your doctor first.
• A spot that changes color, has uneven edges, is raised, itches, bleeds or grows — show it to a dermatologist this week. Home care is for harmless sun spots only.
• Fresh spots can soften in weeks, older ones take 4–8 weeks, and a few very old ones may never fully fade.
