Sir Nigel Gresley and friends battle the gales at Carlisle: Class 37, 66, 68 11 March 2026

Wednesday 11th March and Sir Nigel Gresley hauls the Cumbrian Mountaineer to Carlisle for its only planned visit in 2026. We also see D6851 Flopsie shunt the train off to LSL's Upperby depot. A few freights and light engine moves too on a VERY windy day. The Gales were really blowing. The times shown on clips are for guidance only and shouldn't be taken as definitive.
