Spa Day with My Bestie and the Cumbernauld 10k - Weekend Vlog

Saturday was a mate date with Jenni at Si Spa at the Waterside Hotel, right on the beach which is very much my kind of setting. Followed it up with coffee and food at Gro, half savoury half sweet because that's always the move. Sunday was the Cumbernauld 5k and 10k. Our local race and the team showed up in force. Some crossing a finish line for the very first time, some stepping up from the 5k they did last year to take on the 10k and others using it as a training run on the road to the Great Scottish Run. For me personally it was just about being there. Still not well, still navigating the hip flexor, only started running again last week.
