County Attorney Menefee to Announce Legal Update Over Solar For All Funding

Harris County Attorney Christian Menefee will be joined by Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher, Commissioner Adrian Garcia, County Judge Lina Hidalgo, local labor union leaders, and members of the Texas Solar For All Coalition to announce the next steps in the legal battle over funding for this important program. Harris County led the Texas Solar For All Coalition in securing one of the five largest awards nationwide, totaling $249.7 million in funds to lower energy costs, create good-paying jobs, strengthen the power grid, and tackle climate change. Funding was recently canceled by the Environmental Protection Agency.
