a quiet and cozy evening work-with-me | one hour | with music

the end of a day spent with my fingers wrapped in yarn and my hands covered in paint, with a pot of tea traded in for an oversized mug of hot chocolate, and a warm sweater for the newly-autumnal gusts of wind against the house and the chill in the floors. a late evening work-with-me complete with music that's a little quiet, a tad dreamy, a bit restless and surreal— 🕯️ hi, i'm kate! i have a master of arts in english, a handful of almost-dead-but-trying-to-stay-alive-for-mama house plants, and five half-written novels. i work contractually as a research assistant and as co-host of a scholarly podcast. you can also find me at www.thelivinghours.ca, where i sporadically write about the steam above my coffee cup and the way the light strikes just right at eight o'clock on a summer evening. looking for me? ◦ wordpress | https://www.thelivinghours.ca ◦ instagram | @livinghours (  / livinghours  ) music: 0:00 - 1:44 "Synesthesia (Scaled Down Version)" by Peter Sandberg 1:44 - 4:25 "Little Theatrics" by Trevor Kowalski 4:25 - 7:59 "Dimdans" by Franz Gordon 7:59 - 11:23 "Elegance Becomes Her" by Howard Harper Barnes 11:23 - 13:58 "Exile" by Lo Mimieux 13:58 - 16:15 "Lilac (Scaled Down Version)" by Martin Landh 16:15 - 18:57 "Etc..." by Franz Gordon 18:57 - 20:35 "Descent (Scaled Down Version)" by Peter Sandberg 20:35 - 23:03 "Kobi" by Arden Forest 23:03 - 25:34 "Somnium" by Franz Gordon 25:34 - 28:03 "Aroma" by Megan Wofford 28:03 - 30:33 "Amamiku" by Rina Rinoa 30:33 - 33:25 "Erasing the Page" by Trevor Kowalski 33:25 - 35:57 "Reminiscences" by Johannes Bornlof 35:57 - 37:43 "Nunnally" by Pollyanna Maxim 37:43 - 40:45 "African Violet" by Arden Forest 40:45 - 42:55 "Respire" by Rikard From 42:55 - 45:34 "Himitsu" by Lama House 45:34 - 47:43 "Onthou" by Ever So Blue 47:43 - 50:25 "Desert Silhouette" by Trevor Kowalski 50:25 - 52:55 "Bella's Quest" by Helmut Schenker 52:55 - 55:27 "Remnants of a Setting Sun" by Trevor Kowalski 55:27 - 58:48 "The Old Tin Roof" by Rikard From 58:48 - 1:01:26 "Sandcastle" by Magnus Ludvigsson 1:01:26 - 1:03:06 "Synesthesia (Scaled Down Version)" by Peter Sandberg
