37 France: Chalon-sur-Saône Part 1 (Northbound on the River in the Spring) 3:12 minutes - We depart Tournus for Chalon on Friday, April 10, 2026. The day started out very cloudy, but we didn’t mind, as the wind was mild, the river was calm and the river scenery was still magical to us. When the sun came out, we especially enjoyed the reflections of the clouds on the water. On this passage, we navigated our third lock on the Saône, Écluse de Ormes. In Chalon, we chose to stay in a marina for better protection from high winds forecasted in the coming days. Thanks for watching!
