US Navy Made Iran Regret This

The United States hit Iran for the first time in weeks, and the target was strange. Two rocket launchers on a beach on Larak Island, right at the mouth of the Strait of Hormuz. Why would anybody bomb a rocket launcher pointed at the ocean? Because those tubes weren't loaded with rockets. They were loaded with sea mines. Iran tried mining the lane with boats a month before this and coalition radar caught every one of them. So they moved the whole operation onto dry land. This is the story from inside the cockpit. Two Navy F/A-18E Super Hornets get shot at by a 3rd Khordad missile battery in the first minute, an EA-18G Growler puts an AGM-88 HARM on the battery while they're dodging the second missile, and then it turns out the island still has a heat-seeker, a 35mm gun crew, and a second launch truck that stays quiet until the Hornets turn for home.
