Bernadette - "Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves" or "Va, Pensiero" for accordion

The "Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves" commonly known as "Va, pensiero" is a famous operatic chorus from Giuseppe Verdi's 1842 opera "Nabucco." It recollects the period of Babylonian captivity after the destruction of Solomon's Temple in Jerusalem in 586 BC. The opera with its powerful chorus established Verdi as a major composer in 19th century Italy. In 1982, Nana Mouskouri recorded a version in English called, "Song For Liberty." I remember hearing the recording as a child and I loved the beautiful melody. I hope you enjoy my interpretation for accordion.
