What Does Communion Really Mean? | Remembering Jesus | Karen Stuckey | Church Gathering Online

What does communion really mean, and why did Jesus tell us to remember Him? In this Scripture-centred communion message, Karen Stuckey explores what the Bible teaches about the Lord's Supper and why it is so much more than simply a religious routine. Together, we look at: Why Jesus instituted communion His once-for-all sacrifice for our sins What it means to share in Christ and belong to His body Why Paul tells believers to examine themselves How communion proclaims Jesus' death until He comes again Whether you've followed Jesus for many years or are new to the Christian faith, this message encourages us to approach the Lord's Table with understanding, reverence, gratitude and love for one another. Scriptures: Luke 22:19–20, Hebrews 10:10–14, 1 Corinthians 10:16–17, 1 Corinthians 11:23–29, Ephesians 2:8–10. Presented by Karen Stuckey.
