DELHI METRO MAGENTA LINE: HOW CLOSE IS OPENING DAY? 🇮🇳 | Janakpuri to Peeragarhi & Pitampura Update Instagram :   / newway.journey   Delhi Metro’s next big connectivity upgrade is taking shape! 🚇 In this episode of Newway Journey, we take you on a ground-level driving journey to explore the latest construction progress of the Magenta Line extension from Janakpuri West towards Peeragarhi, Madhuban Chowk and Pitampura. Starting from Janakpuri West Metro Station, we travel through important locations along the corridor to see how Delhi’s metro infrastructure is transforming and what this extension could mean for commuters across West and North-West Delhi. During this journey, we explore the surrounding road network near Vikas Puri Flyover, the construction progress around Keshopur Metro Station, Paschim Vihar, Peeragarhi, Mangolpuri, West Enclave, Pushpanjali and Madhuban Chowk. We also discuss the importance of Peeragarhi’s interchange connectivity with the Green Line and look at the developing elevated metro infrastructure, station structures and pedestrian connectivity projects along the route. 🚇 How close is the Magenta Line extension to opening day? The corridor is an important part of Delhi Metro’s Phase IV expansion and is expected to improve connectivity for several neighbourhoods in West and North-West Delhi. However, construction progress does not automatically mean that passenger services can begin. Completion of the remaining work, inspections, safety clearances and official approvals are necessary before an opening date can be confirmed. In this video, we focus on the ground reality and discuss what commuters should know about the project’s progress. Please refer to official DMRC announcements for confirmed commissioning and opening dates. The extension could make daily commuting more convenient, improve connections with other metro corridors and provide additional public transport options for residents of the surrounding areas. As Delhi’s metro network continues to expand, these developments could play an important role in shaping the future of urban mobility across the capital. Watch this video till the end for a detailed driving tour, construction updates and an on-ground look at Delhi’s evolving metro infrastructure.
