Welcome to Episode 2 of our Pakistan Road Trip series! After exploring Karachi, we started our unforgettable journey towards Thar Desert (Tharparkar) in our Suzuki Mehran. What looked like a normal 400+ KM road trip quickly turned into an adventure. We crossed the highways of Sindh, enjoyed roadside tea, captured breathtaking drone shots, and entered the famous Kacha Area, where we were advised to cross before dark. Just when the sun was setting, our journey took an unexpected turn—our car's tire suddenly burst in a deserted area with almost no traffic and no mobile network. With no jack available, we had to rely on the kindness of strangers before continuing our journey. As night fell, our car developed another issue near the rice fields, where local Sindhi farmers helped us get back on the road. Finally, after hours of driving, we reached our destination deep inside the Thar region, where we spent the night in a historic 100+ year-old building with no electricity or internet. This is just the beginning of our Thar Desert adventure.
