Skill Level: ** It’s not a complicated pattern, but it may be challenging for absolute beginners who don't know the basics of crocheting. Here are the abbreviations (US): mr: magic ring ch: chain dc: double crochet sl st: slip stitch (number): The stitch count at the end of a round. inc: increase - Adding more stitches to a round by making two stitches into the very same stitch. sk st: skip stitch - Don’t work any stitches into the next designated stitch or stitches on the working round. [...]x*number*: Repeat the group of stitches written inside the brackets a total of number times across that specific round or row. fasten off: Cut the yarn leaving about 10 cm tail, pull the tail completely through the final loop on your hook, and pull it tight to lock the knot. sc: single crochet ch-sp: chain space - An open gap in the crochet fabric. hdc: half-double crochet Materials: 3/Light Weight Yarn – white, green, red (I used leftover yarn; it’s polyacrylic. If you want to achieve a similar colour scheme for the coaster as in the video, I recommend Schachenmayr Bravo Original 08200 ecru, 08194 limone [I actually used this green colour], and 08221 feuer, or the Drops Cotton Light Uni Colour 01, 39, and 47, but the colours are totally customisable.) 4.00 mm hook scissors tapestry needle two stitch markers Measurements: the diameter is 10 centimetres TIMESTAMP 00:00 Intro, Title, Showcase 00:48 Materials, Base 01:04 Round 1 03:28 Round 2 06:25 Round 3 10:35 Round 4 14:43 Round 5 19:36 Rose 24:10 Weave in ends 30:11 Joining 31:49 Showcase
