Greenie Peak Trail | Red River NM

Greenie Peak Trail starts in Red River NM at Mallette Canyon Park. It is popular for ATVs, Jeeps, and mountain bikes. From the park, head up Mallette #597 for 1.5 miles, turn right at FR #54K and follow it for about a mile. This section is very steep. Turn right at the intersection and take FR #54H toward Greenie. Stay on the main road because there are several smaller spurs that won’t take you to Greenie Peak. My GoPro camera overheated about the 5-mile mark and shutdown. Greenie Peak is about 1 mile past the point where this occurred. The path to Greenie is well marked. Telemetry Overlay Software was used to create a heads-up display for this video.
