Watersprite Lake Backcountry Camping | The Hike, The Camp & The Views

Watersprite Lake is one of those places that makes the journey feel completely worth it. For this adventure, we headed into the backcountry to hike to Watersprite Lake and spend the night surrounded by the mountains. The trail takes you through forests, rocky terrain, steep sections, and alpine landscapes before finally opening up to the lake. Carrying everything we needed for an overnight stay definitely added to the challenge, but arriving at the lake and setting up camp made it all worthwhile. There’s something special about spending a night in the mountains, away from the noise, surrounded by alpine scenery, and waking up to a view like this.
