And so we continue a series I like to call "I play through resonance because there isn't a no commentary playthrough where the player doesn't lose any mowers". Rolls off the tongue, don't it?

(Wild west thoughts)
Ahhh, wild west. What a concept.
I've never really had any opinions on it one way or another. The minecarts are cool and all, but for the longest time my main thoughts were that it was just kind of ok. My main issue came from the specials not being the most interesting thing on earth; I even hold this same opinion with PS and AE's.
Not anymore, though, because this Wild West is insanely aggressive! We have gunman poncho zombies, rodeo legends that have way more health (and i think do more damage??), immobile pianos that effect every single zombie near it, and prospector who's just kinda how he always was. We also got a new special in the form of gravedigger, and he's decently fun i like him too
all of this comes together to make a wild west that's very very aggressive, as I mentioned. Ponchos wittling away your frontlines, rodeo legends sending their imps squarely in the middle while the bull itself further damages your frontlines, pianos that are constantly messing with everyone's positions, prospector pressuring the back of your lawn, and gravediggers creating grave after grave to protect everyone. Now, there's a question I'm sure you're wondering about, that being "is it fun"? And uh, yeah! Within reason. I do feel like the aggression of this world can be a bit overbearing, but I don't think there's really any level I'd call outright bad, just a little tough at times.
Still, not too shabby, although I do think I prefer lost city. For that I think I give this world a humble B tier.
Favorite level was level 9, that was a great demonstration of kiwibeast, and overall was very fun. I might consider adding them to my deck...
(Plant thoughts)
Homing thistle: Another elite plant, and one I really enjoy. The elite plants in general I really enjoy using. really. I feel kinda stupid for not placing it closer more often, but it's a great way to push back zombies who you feel like are getting a wee bit too close. Don't be too daunted by their pricy cost, as this is a 50 sun meta mod; just make sure your other defenses aren't too expensive if you wanna build up to them.
Cattail: It's just a nicely balanced cattail, nothing special but I have to say that plant food feels way better than the missile and magnifying grass versions.
Wheat slinger: I don't get to use it often, but this thing is busted. This thing controls lanes like nobody's business, and while you definitely need to get a weird setup in order for it to do so, it'll really pull its weight. Works great with peanut, another plant I like, so thumbs up.
Crystal shroom: This is less of a discussion, and more of an ask. What strategies work with this plant? I bought them and was hoping to show them off in this video, but couldn't ever really get them to work how I wanted to.
Solworthia: Unique concept, and a pretty cool plant in general. I dunno how much I'll use it, but it's at least pretty good so I'm not discouraged.
Stickybomb rice: Not sure about this one... Maybe using cattails with it was the wrong move but something about it just didn't work for me. Maybe I should use a different strategy?
Missile Toe: I was a little curious on how she worked given that snowy cotton exists, and it turns out she's more focused on DPS. Neat! Her recharge time after firing is a little bit strange, but she does bring a nice amount of damage to the field, so maybe I'll use her again sooner or later.
See you next time, in dark ages.
