In this full-length citywalk, we explore one of Chongqing’s most unique cultural landmarks — Eling Erchang (鹅岭二厂) — from top to bottom, past to present, and end with a steaming hotpot finale the Chongqing way. We begin our journey at a hidden side entrance that leads us directly to the second floor, where sweeping rooftop views overlook the main alley below. From there, we wander through Eling’s lively streets — filled with indie cafés, creative studios, vintage stores, and the iconic Yellow Zip Building. In the second part, we dive into the more nostalgic side — exploring quiet back alleys with weathered stone walls, old carvings, and finally, the incredible Printing Factory Museum, complete with a 1/12 scale model of factory life from the 1950s. We continue to a side street featuring giant traffic sign art, staircase photo spots, and the district’s most famous wall mural.
