BY STARLIGHT, I WILL FIND YOU for concert band (2022)

On today's episode of "pieces I've written that nobody really knows about," we have this one! Written for the inaugural New Mexico State Young Composers Competition in 2022, it unfortunately did not win, but was a promising opportunity to write a new piece at the beginning of my second year of graduate school. This was my first serious attempt at a "slow" band piece, and I felt it was time to share it with more than just a judging panel based thousands of miles away.
