Braised Bitter Melon – Everyone’s Favorite Dish ❤️🍲

Today, I went to the market to buy bitter melons and pre-ground mackerel. I made a small slit in each bitter melon to remove all the seeds and inner flesh, keeping only the outer shell. Then I took the pre-ground mackerel and mixed and kneaded it until it became smooth and chewy, allowing the seasoning to soak in well. I stuffed the seasoned mackerel mixture into each bitter melon. Next, I put a pot of water on the stove, added the seasonings, and waited for it to come to a boil. Once the water was boiling, I added the stuffed bitter melons and simmered them until they were tender but still had a slight crunch. And there I had a delicious pot of braised bitter melon stuffed with mackerel, rich in flavor and full of the authentic taste of my hometown. 🍲💚
