Translating the main theme song (片頭曲) "Dragon Heart" (龍的心) from Take Care, Your Highness! 1985 (皇上保重) into English. Original Cantonese Song by Johnny Yip (叶振棠). "Take Care, Your Highness!" is a TVB creation released in 1985. It is really not an action series but rather a romance/drama. As a kid, I found the pace to be too slow for my liking. The series focuses on a young Qianlong Emperor (乾隆帝) who was played by Andy Lau (劉德華). Thankfully Andy was able to keep everyone entertained throughout the whole 20 episodes with his charm and strong acting. The story covers the rise of Qinlong to Emperor, his search for his birth origins, and his playboy like lifestyle. The main love interest for the series is a Han girl played by Carina Lau (劉嘉玲). Carina and Andy have such a good chemistry together which is why they are a couple in many TVB series during the 1980's. It is no different here. Maggie Shiu (邵美琪) who was beginning her acting career appeared towards the end as Princess Fragrance (香香公主). Her appearance was pretty brief that she was there and then she wasn't... Although, they did heavily promote her character in the promotional posters and trailer. The other notable mention is Sean Lau (劉青雲) who was the leader of an anti-Qing Government faction. I found his character pretty lame and annoying to be honest. The main theme song "Dragon Heart" was sang by Jonny Yip. It's one of the long list of great theme songs in the 1980's. Anyway, enjoy...
