Maple & Blossom Are Settling In | Our First Goat Update - Ep. 10

In Episode #10 of Our Desert Acre, we’re checking in on Maple and Blossom as they settle into life on the homestead. They wasted no time getting comfortable. The alfalfa hay was an immediate hit, they’re using both water stations, starting to nibble at their minerals, and already developing their own little routines. We’re also starting to see their personalities come through. Maple seems a little more willing to try things first, while Blossom has no problem getting playful and a little pushy when she feels like it. Both of them are incredibly affectionate and have already figured out how to ask for more scratches when we stop. We’ll also take a look at how they’re doing with the chickens and dogs, where they like to sleep, what their mornings and evenings look like, and a few things that have surprised us since bringing them home. The biggest lesson so far is just how connected these two are to each other. They eat together, rest together, explore together, and clearly feel safer side by side. They may have only been here a short time, but Maple and Blossom are already a huge part of Our Desert Acre.
