全是恩典神才把我們放在各樣的試煉裡頭，我們應當歡喜快樂，因為我們是有福氣的！是神的恩典祂的隱藏的愛才這樣臨到我們身上，讓我們有經歷，使我們所有的經歷，患難，試煉，羞辱，誹謗都是為著得著主的自己。這世界上給我們 一切都不可取，沒有一個可親，沒有一個能有指望，臨到我們世界上一切都是不可靠，神剝奪手要拆毀我們所依靠的好把祂自己給我們，只有親愛主寶貝主是我們的最親，我們的最愛，是我們唯一可靠！唯有那讓我們輕視這世上的一切的神，讓我們看萬事如糞土，甘心情願地把自己當作活祭獻上全然分別成聖歸神，在我們身上有絕對的主權，祂可以隨著自己的意旨自由地不受攔阻地成就祂甘美的旨意時候，我們才能看中神和我們之間的，沒有任何間隔的，眾水不能熄滅大水不能淹沒的，嫉恨如陰間之殘忍的如死之堅強的愛情！ It is entirely by grace that God places us amidst various trials; we ought to rejoice and be glad, for we are truly blessed! It is God’s grace—His hidden love—that comes upon us in this way, granting us experiences wherein our tribulations, trials, humiliations, and slanders all serve the purpose of gaining the Lord Himself. Nothing this world offers is worth desiring, nothing is truly lovely, and nothing holds real hope; all that comes to us from the world is unreliable. God’s hand strips away and tears down the things we rely on, so that He may give Himself to us; only the precious, beloved Lord is our closest One, our greatest love, and our only true security! Only when God leads us to despise the things of this world—to count all things as rubbish and willingly offer ourselves as living sacrifices, wholly set apart and sanctified unto Him—and when He exercises absolute sovereignty over us, freely and without hindrances accomplishing His sweet will according to His own purpose, can we truly behold and value the love between God and us: a love with no barrier between us, a love that many waters cannot quench nor floods drown, a love as jealous and cruel as the grave, and as strong as death!
