East Broad Top Railroad’s Historic Coal Dock Returns to Service

For the first time in decades, Locomotive No. 16's tender was parked under the chutes of the newly restored Coal Dock and loaded with coal. This milestone is a testament to what we can accomplish together. The commitment of EBT’s Mechanical and Engineering Departments, the dedication of the EBT Track crew and FEBT volunteers, and the generosity of donors have made this endeavor possible. Each effort, from rebuilding the track to constructing the external structure in 2021, has brought us to this moment. Today, the Coal Dock stands restored and returned to service, joining the growing number of structures along the East Broad Top corridor brought back through the dedication of the EBT Foundation and FEBT.
