Bangkok Evening Walk | BTS Asok → Nana | Thailand Ride (2026-09)

Walk from BTS Asok toward Nana along Sukhumvit Road in the evening, this time following the EVEN SIDE — the even-numbered soi side of the street. Starting at 5:39 PM on September 1, this walk captures Sukhumvit during the transition from daytime into evening, with commuters, pedestrians, traffic, hotels, local businesses, sidewalks, and the growing activity along one of central Bangkok’s busiest corridors. Although BTS Asok and Nana are only one station apart on the Sukhumvit Line, walking between them reveals the street-level details that are easy to miss from the train. This video is the counterpart to the BTS Asok → Nana walk filmed the previous evening. On August 31, I started at 7:27 PM and walked the ODD SIDE after daylight had largely faded. For this video, I returned at 5:39 PM and followed the same direction from the EVEN SIDE. The route and destination are the same, but both the side of the road and the time of day are different. From the EVEN SIDE, different sois, building entrances, shops, sidewalks, pedestrian movement, and views across Sukhumvit come into view. The earlier start also preserves a different stage of the evening, before the street fully takes on its nighttime atmosphere. Together, the two walks show how the same short route can change through both perspective and time. No Cuts Unless Necessary. No talking. No background music. Minimal editing.
