Killer Cop Shoots an Unarmed Man 8 Times in the Back — CAUGHT Planting Evidence!

I'm William Jackson, and today we're dissecting the murder trial of Michael Slager and the story he told. Today's case is the murder trial of North Charleston officer Michael Slager, who shot a driver he had stopped over a broken third brake light on April 4, 2015. The man ran, and a bystander filmed what followed: eight shots fired from about 18 to 40 feet, five hitting his back, according to prosecutors. Slager told his lieutenant and state investigators that the man grabbed his taser and came at him. On cross-examination, the prosecutor walked him through the video, and Slager conceded the man did not have the taser when shot. Jurors also heard about the taser carried to the body, no DNA under the victim's fingernails, and eighteen prior use-of-force incidents. They could choose murder, voluntary manslaughter or not guilty, but on December 5, 2016, they could not reach a unanimous verdict and the judge declared a mistrial.
