Cop Kills a Man Over Thrown TRASH — Then Lies 7 Times in ONE Hearing!

I'm William Jackson, and today we're examining the murder trial of former Auburn officer Jeffrey Nelson. Today's case is the King County murder trial of Auburn, Washington officer Jeffrey Nelson, who shot a homeless man, Jesse Sarey, outside Sunshine Grocery on May 31, 2019. It began with calls about a man throwing trash and kicking a machine, with no known weapons. Nelson called for a second unit but didn't wait, then confronted Sarey, who was searching a trash box for something to drink. A witness, Steven Woodard, described at least ten blows in a headlock. Nelson's first shot hit Sarey's abdomen. His gun jammed, he cleared it, then fired into Sarey's head. Nelson claimed Sarey reached for his gun and had a knife, but Woodard testified the knife was folded on his car hood before the first shot. Nelson never testified. On June 27, 2024, jurors convicted him of second-degree murder and first-degree assault, and he was taken into custody. The judge sentenced him to 200 months, and he has appealed. This is what happens when a badge stops seeing a person in front of it. DISCLAIMER This channel is for education and commentary only.
