An ordinary evening in Japan after a 12-hour workday: grocery shopping, a simple udon dinner, and a late-night trip to the laundromat. Hi, I'm Taco, a 25-year-old office worker living alone in Japan. After working from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., there are still a few things to do at home. Tonight, I'm washing my bedding, making pork and kimchi udon in the microwave, and fitting in some English practice before bed. Along the way, I share a few thoughts about giving something your all, feeling unsure at work, and the happiness of being able to help someone—even in a small way. I also talk about a dream that grew out of sharing these videos: meeting people from around the world. Thank you for spending part of your day with me. I hope this quiet evening keeps you company. What small thing made you happy today?
