The Koodaya (Lechchami) - තේ කූඩය (ලෙච්චමී) | Esala Zone 2023 | පුංචි පන්සලේ ඇසළ කලාපය

Here is a beautiful live stage dance performance from the Esala Zone of the Little Temple (පුංචි පන්සලේ ඇසළ කලාපය) cultural event held in Palugampala in August 2023. I captured this video live to highlight the incredible talent of our local village youth dancing to the song "The Koodaya Pite Badan (Lechchami)" (තේ කූඩය පිටේ බැඳන් (ලෙච්චමී)). I wanted to document this performance to preserve the memory of our village's cultural events and celebrate the hard work put in by the dancers and organizers. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dancers: • Janani Chamika • Yamesha Gimhani නර්තනය: • ජනනි චාමිකා • යමේෂා ගිම්හානි ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Event Details & Credits: • Event: Esala Zone of the Little Temple (පුංචි පන්සලේ ඇසළ කලාපය) • Performance: Live Stage Dance • Date Filmed: August 1–5, 2023 Song Credits: • Song: The Koodaya Pite Badan (Lechchami) / තේ කූඩය පිටේ බැඳන් (ලෙච්චමී) • Artist: Freddie Silva / Kalawathi / Stanly Peiris • Music: Victor Rathnayake • Lyrics: Hemasiri Halpita Original Song:    • The Koodaya   Note: This video features background music of the song recorded live at the community event.
