As a thank you for watching this live studio recreation of 'Supercool', you can get the best ever discount on the album it's taken from, 'This Is Your Life' here - https://thisisadultcinema.com/this-is... Watch Mike Weston perform 'Supercool' live in a studio in Belgium - playing every instrument himself, as he's always done. This is Adult Cinema in its most elemental form: one man, multiple instruments, and the kind of unhurried, immersive songwriting that draws inevitable comparisons to Meddle-era Pink Floyd and the solo work of Steven Wilson. "A winning blend of Meddle-era Pink Floyd, beguiling psych-folk and classic rock riffing. Mike Weston is an accomplished songwriter and musician who deserves a wider audience." — Joe Clay, The Times. Like Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree, Mike wrote, played and recorded all the Adult Cinema material on his own, only occasionally drafting in players for a handful of gigs. This performance captures exactly that spirit. 'Supercool' is taken from 'This Is Your Life', the debut album that found its way into the hands of music supervisors worldwide and placed Adult Cinema tracks on TV shows from Brazil to Finland to the USA. --------------- Recorded at Riverstudios - Hampteau - Belgium Engineered by Gus Gouldsborough Filmed by Steve Travell Edited by Tom Reader All keyboards supplied by Kick Backline Hire Special thanks to Chris Lemmons and Ives Mergaerts --------------- You can find the special offer for the album 'This is Your Life' on vinyl and CD here - https://thisisadultcinema.com/this-is...
