"If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles, like the 1 Chronicles, was recorded by Ezra shortly after the return of the precious exiles around 450 BC. While 1 and 2 Kings were recorded from a prophetic perspective from the time of Solomon to the Babylonian captivity, the 1 and 2 Chronicles provide testimony centered on the temple, worship, and God's mercy and faithfulness from a priestly perspective, and prophesies that the preservation of David's dynasty will be fulfilled through Jesus Christ, who is the Messianic lineage. As you read through the Book of 2 Chronicles, which takes 144 minutes, may you have a time of experiencing God, who is the author of history.
