Tired Saturday in Japan 🇯🇵 | A Quiet Day After a Busy Friday

After a slightly busy Friday, Saturday morning begins quietly. The dishes are still in the sink. The laundry is left in the washing machine. Yesterday didn’t end properly. But outside the window, snow has quietly reset the world. Today, I start again. I make a simple Japanese breakfast — freshly cooked rice, miso soup filled with vegetables, and grilled Saikyo-yaki. There is no “correct answer” for miso soup. You can choose any ingredients you like. Maybe life is a little like that too. Even if yesterday felt unfinished, a warm meal and a slow morning can gently bring life back into your hands.
