Takkra - Ouroboros (Atlantis Broadcast Rework)

With Atlantis Broadcast, Takkra opens a new chapter. Recorded at Studio Atlantis in Lanzarote, the album reworks old and new ideas into a series of deep, atmospheric transmissions. Familiar elements surface and disappear, transformed into something fresh, unexpected, and often far removed from their original form. Inspired by the legend of Atlantis, the album takes familiar material apart and rebuilds it into something entirely new. Somewhere beyond the horizon, Atlantis Broadcast brings together distant memories, imagination, and sound. In 2004, legendary and genre-defining Danish label Iboga Records donned their slippers and smoking jackets, reclined, and cozily launched a new sub-label: Sofa Beats. The idea was to broadcast their previously unprofessed love for the myriad of shades and styles that make up mid-tempo and downtempo electronic music. Today, Sofa Beats is run from Copenhagen & Berlin by the laidback yet discerning Alexander Descroix & Niki. The chill out legion of Sofa Beats aficionado is secretly among you in every corner of the world, rhythmically nodding to his headphones, quietly content and in-the-know. Always topping the charts and with hundreds of very different releases in the rearview, Sofa Beats abides by their motto: A COMFORTABLE MULTIVERSE OF SOUND This channel is powered by Chill Space. http://bit.ly/ChillSpaceTV #Ambient #SofaBeats #Electronica #chillout #chill #downbeat #psychill #psybient
