Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.
From vaulted halls where cedars crowned the hill,
The watchmen slept while ravens circled still.
Gold-laden vaults became the heart’s decay,
And wolves in robes led flocks of light astray.
The spider’s thread, unseen, was drawn through courts,
Where oaths of night bound hands in dark resorts.
The Sacred Circle turns, the Four Winds speak,
What once was strong now trembles, frail and weak.
Yet Turtle bears the covenant anew,
When hearts return to paths both firm and true.
The Tree of Life extends its branch of flame,
To lift the lowly who revere Thy name.
Upon the mountain, eagle’s flight ascends,
Where those once distant now as sons attend.
Their robes washed white within the flowing stream,
They stand as bears, with healing and esteem.
While rivers carve the stone with patient grace,
The prideful altars crumble, leave no trace.
The owl keeps vigil through the lengthening night,
Till salmon leap to dawn, renewed in light.
Sopranos/Altos: See how the wolf now guards the lamb from harm,
Tenors/Basses: The buffalo bows low at Temple’s charm.
Full Choir: For wealth is tested as the stars are tried,
When seasons change, whose harvest shall abide?
The web is broken by the morning sun,
The secret shadow flees when day is won.
No lineage shields the soul from chosen ground,
For deer must seek the water where ‘tis found.
The Medicine Wheel remembers every vow,
Each pathway traced in living waters now.
From winter’s tomb the butterfly ascends,
And covenant dawn shall never see an end.
The watchmen wake; the walls with truth are lined,
No hidden blade shall conquer steadfast mind.
The Sacred Circle turns, the Kingdoms stand,
Held firm within the hollow of Thy hand.
Let cedar, eagle, turtle, flame proclaim,
The glory rising from the altar’s name.
For Light descended, raised us from the sod,
To walk in covenant before our God.
Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest... Amen.
