Next year Civilization 7 is adding the solar system with the Earthrise expansion. TODAY year it finally got Earth! Update 1.5.0 is live, and the headline change is a the huge True Start Location Earth map/
I've been playing it on an early build, with the debug camera pulled back far enough to see A LOT of this interesting new earth map. So let's talk Civ 7 update 1.5: the limitations nobody's leading with (Huge size only, Antiquity only, and Independent Powers aren't at their historic spots), the rebuilt Shuffle and Terra Incognita maps, the new option to pay Influence and stay out of an Ally's war, the Radial Ruler and the rest of the UI pass. There's also a 20USD 'Hall of History' collection bringing familiar leaders Elizabeth I and George Washington. Plus three new civs - Babylon, the Gauls and England.
Plus the one line in the patch notes that matters more than the map? Firaxis says the patch cadence is about to quiet down while they finish Arc of Tomorrow and Earthrise. Likely just one more patch before they roll out!
Thanks to 2k for providing an early press preview version of update 1.5.
