Colleges don't read your activities list to see what you've done — they read it for the pattern of who you've been. Most students fill it out as ten disconnected bullet points and lose the story. This week: how to find your thread, and write each activity so it actually lands — Role, Action, Impact. Most students fill out the activities list one item at a time — title, description, move on. Readers are doing something different: scanning for the thread. We show you how to find yours, the Role · Action · Impact formula that makes 150 characters count, and Antonio's story — a student whose list read like anyone's until we named the one thing he'd been doing for years. In this episode: → The thread vs. the list — what admissions readers are actually looking for → Role · Action · Impact — the formula that makes your 50/150 characters work → Why leadership without a title (and impact with one person) still counts → Antonio's story — he didn't add a single activity; he named the one already there → What to do this week — list everything, find your cluster, draft three with the formula ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ABOUT STRESSED OUT 2 STAND OUT Stressed Out 2 Stand Out is a free 24-week college admissions series for high school students, parents, and counselors.
