Dale Ellis - 1998 NBA 3-Point Shootout (Third Place, Seventh & Final Appearance)

Former 3-Point Champion Dale Ellis made his seventh and final shootout appearance at 1998's NBA All-Star Weekend. In his second stint with the Seattle SuperSonics—the team with whom he won his first 3-point title—Ellis finished with 18 first-round points before narrowly falling to eventual champion Jeff Hornecek in a 24-second tie-breaking shoot-off in the semi-finals. Ellis finished second all-time in 3-point shootout appearance (seven), one short of Craig Hodges, who appeared in the NBA's first eight shootouts (winning three).
