MAKE THE WATCHTOWER KNEEL | Female Led Siege Ram Chant | Epic Viking Song & Nordic Music

Epic Viking Song, Nordic Viking Music & Norse Mythology Music 🌕 The fire fades. The northern wind rises. A new tale begins. 🐺 A cinematic Viking song for Nordic playlists, Norse mythology atmosphere, fantasy RPGs, writing, and immersive northern worlds. Skald’s Words Pitch and smoke blind the noon sky as the ram speaks its one word, again and again. She leads half-deaf, cheek open, still mouthing the count to those behind her. The oak beams answer; the iron hinge confesses; the captain sees no monster, only a woman standing. She hates the joy — that is the truest line in all of it. What hunted them now holds the yard, the field, the high place they were told to fear. 🎼 Lyrics DOWN! DOWN! TIMBER AND STONE! Make the watchtower bend to the bone! PUSH! PUSH! RAM TO THE GATE! We are the knock that arrives with fate! DOWN! DOWN! HEAR THE WOOD CRY! Make their high watch kneel from the sky! RAM FORWARD! THREE HARD STEPS! SHIELDS OVER! TAKE THE GATE! Hot pitch falls past the shield above; Smoke turns noon to a raven's dusk. The ram swings back, the oak beams groan; Their arrows drum on the hide we hold. My cheek is cut, my hearing is gone; Still I mouth the count and drive them on. I hate the joy that grips my chest Each time their wall gives one breath less. DOWN! DOWN! TIMBER AND STONE! Make the watchtower bend to the bone! PUSH! PUSH! RAM TO THE GATE! We are the knock that arrives with fate! DOWN! DOWN! HEAR THE WOOD CRY! Make their high watch kneel from the sky! LEFT SIDE! LOCKED! RIGHT SIDE! DRIVEN! RAM BACK! ONE—TWO—THREE! RAM FORWARD! MAKE IT KNEEL! GATE DOWN—FEET THROUGH! The iron hinge tears from the frame; Their watch horn cracks into our names. We flood the yard in a wall of oak; Their captain runs through ash and smoke. I strike his sword from out his hand; He sees no beast—he sees me stand. We take their tower, yard and field; The ones who hunted learn to yield. Did the gate hold? NOT THIS TIME! Did their tower stand? NOT THIS TIME! Who owns the ground? THOSE WHO TOOK IT! TIMBER LOW—OUR BANNER HIGH! DOWN! DOWN! TIMBER AND STONE! Make the watchtower bend to the bone! PUSH! PUSH! RAM TO THE GATE! We are the knock that arrives with fate! DOWN! DOWN! HEAR THE WOOD CRY! Make their high watch kneel from the sky! THE TOWER KNEELS!
