Baltimore Comic-Con might be one of the BEST pure comic-book conventions in the country—and this year's show may have been our best visit yet! Collectors Confessions spent two days at Baltimore Comic-Con, digging through thousands of comics, meeting incredible creators, hunting $1, $2 and $5 bins, checking out vintage toys and staring at some unbelievable wall books. And we came home with TWO HUGE COMICS for our collection! We spotted six copies of Fantastic Four #1—including TWO raw copies, X-Men #1, Golden Age Superman comics and plenty of other major keys. We also dug through the bins at Cherry Pickers, visited B&B Comics and checked out Third Eye Comics, which supplies many of the books available through our affiliate shop. One of the best parts of Baltimore is its incredible creator lineup. During the weekend we caught up with several previous Collectors Confessions guests and friends of the show, including Brian Pulido, Garth Ennis, Jason Aaron, Fred Van Lente, Crystal Skillman, Dean Haspiel, Josh Blaylock, Olivia Cuartero-Briggs, Carmine Costa, Chris Yates and more. We also ran into Mike Zapcic from Comic Book Men and had a chance to say hello to David Dastmalchian and Leah Kilpatrick. Then there's the HAUL. Stay until the end because we're revealing everything we bought—including those two major books we've been teasing! A huge thank-you to Randy Tishler and Baltimore Comic-Con for providing our press passes and to the convention staff for being so welcoming throughout the weekend. 👇 Were you at Baltimore Comic-Con?
