Kumi Tachi 1 to 5 - Introduction to Chiba Sensei's Weapons System #5

Chiba Sensei taught all five Kumi Tachi with a Kiri-Otoshi finish (see the video on Kiri-Otoshi). It is worth noting Chiba Sensei's interpretation of Kumi Tachi does not have kesa-uchi (yokomen uchi) attacks, with the exception of the first attach in Ni-no-Tachi. All other downward attacks are Shomen Uchi. For these reasons Kiri-Otoshi and Uchikomi are good pre-requisites for Kumi Tachi training. Chiba sensei published a classic Jo Basics DVD.
