Van Gogh's The Sower Painting Itself | Art for Your TV

Van Gogh's The Sower slowly comes together on screen, from blank canvas to the last stroke, to music by Beethoven. No captions, no talking: leave it on the TV while you study, read, work or rest. This is an interpretive animation: a plausible reconstruction of how the canvas may have been painted, not a historical record of the artist's process. Painting: Vincent van Gogh, The Sower (1888). Van Gogh Museum, Amsterdam, s0029V1962. Public domain image. Music: Beethoven, Violin Concerto, 2nd movement (final excerpt), United States Marine Band, public domain. Art&Art — Great paintings. Classical music. #VanGogh #TheSower #PostImpressionism #Beethoven #ArtForTV #ClassicalMusic #FineArtMasterclass
