Ripping Things Up

The plaintiff says he left his car on the street when he went out of town to visit his mother. He says the defendant’s company towed his car, and when he went to retrieve it, the seats were ripped out and the gear shift was broken. He’s suing for damages. The defendant argues the police called her to come tow the plaintiff’s car. She says she didn’t do anything to his car, which was unregistered and didn’t have license plates. Case: 31-113
