Reverse Engineering Banvie 1 Car Remote Start and Keyless Entry System - Part 1

Welcome to Part 1 of a multipart reverse engineering series on the Banvie 1 Car Remote Start and Keyless Entry System! In this episode, we crack open the device to understand how it works from the inside out. I'll show you how to identify the main components on the circuit board and explain how to map out the system's connections. Using a combination of the system's known in-car behavior and oscilloscope-based probing, we will successfully figure out the connections for the indicator light, horn/siren, lock, unlock, and trunk release relays.
