Living and working in Japan has taught me to appreciate simple things and make the most of what I have. Later in the day, I headed to Kobe to watch the beautiful Minato Fireworks. I ended the evening at one of my favorite spots near Maiko Station, enjoying McDonald’s with a beautiful view of the illuminated Akashi Kaikyo Bridge and the sea. Nothing extraordinary, just another day filled with little moments that make life in Japan special.
