Some weddings simply fall into place — the light is beautiful, the people are full of joy, and everything feels effortless. John and Valerie’s wedding at Harrington Farm in Princeton, Massachusetts was one of those days. November weather in New England can be unpredictable, but they were treated to absolutely perfect conditions — crisp air, beautiful light, and an incredible sky to finish the day. The ceremony took place at Prince of Peace Church in Princeton, a beautiful setting that gave the day a sense of tradition and meaning. It’s always nice to see couples include a church ceremony — there’s something timeless about that moment when everything slows down and you can really feel the significance of the day. The morning began with the bridesmaids getting ready at a nearby Airbnb, where the atmosphere was fun and relaxed. The light streamed through the windows, creating the perfect setting for some stunning portraits of Valerie before heading to the ceremony. Meanwhile, John and his groomsmen prepared at Harrington Farm, enjoying the day and keeping things easygoing. Afterward, we made our way back to Harrington Farm, taking advantage of the incredible surroundings. We explored the rustic barn, the old porch, and the apple tree, capturing natural moments as John and Valerie walked through the property. The open field with its tall grass and wide, dramatic sky made for some of my favorite portraits of the day. As the evening began, the celebration truly came alive. The dance floor was packed all night, and it was clear everyone was there to celebrate and have fun. This job is always easier when you genuinely like the couple you’re working with — and John and Valerie made that easy. They were warm, kind, and completely present with each other and their guests. Congratulations, John and Valerie — it was a joy to be part of your day.
