The Software Engineering Job Hunt

What does the software engineering job hunt actually feel like when you're in the middle of it? In this video, I'm documenting where I am right now — how I'm approaching software engineering placements, what I'm doing to prepare, and how I'm trying to increase my chances of actually getting a role. I'm working on DSA, following a structured sheet, doing cold outreach, applying for software engineering roles, and now experimenting with Loom-based video outreach as well. There's no perfect roadmap here, and I'm not claiming that any of these things will guarantee a job. This is simply a raw journal of the process — figuring things out, trying different approaches, learning what works, and continuing to put myself out there. If you're also in college, preparing for placements, doing DSA, applying for software engineering jobs, or trying to land your first SDE role, this might feel familiar. I'm documenting the journey as it happens. #SoftwareEngineering #SoftwareEngineer #JobHunt #Placements #DSA #coding #productivity #programming
