But in all truth, whatever type of base (She used cardboard) you use will determine the width of the amount of index card you need. To determine this, eye-ball the measurement by doing as she did and trimming what you need. ~Sora used yellow fabric and really thick black paper for the top design. She suggests using something other than regular copy paper. The thicker the paper, the more waterproof it is and less likely to show the hot glue. ~If you don't want to use hot glue to glue the paper on, you can easily use a standard school glue stick (try to stay away from desk tape) But you must also know that a school glue stick won't hold up forever. You may need to keep gluing your pieces on, so use at your own risk. ~Of course these don't look quite like Rin and Len's headphones, but in reality, they bare a striking resemblance.
