Fishing for cod 2019!

A long weekend meant it's time for another adventure, so we packed the car and headed west in search of some Murray cod. Rus had fished this spot a couple of months ago and i was keen to check it out before it got to cold, but i think we were abit late haha. Forecast looked good but the temp was supposed to drop sub zero overnight. Unfortunately they haven't had rain out there for a while so it was really dry and dusty and the water level had dropped significantly. fishing was a little bit slow but we managed to land 5 cod! It was such a nice valley and creek to explore, with no one else around besides some deer and kangaroos, can't wait to get back there after some rain and hopefully get some bigger fish.
