Little Red Corvette by Prince (arr. by Dion Nickelson) - AfterGlow Chorus

Recorded live from AfterGlow's concert "Purple Reign" honoring the 10-year anniversary of Prince's passing. Released in 1982 as the lead single from his groundbreaking double album 1999, "Little Red Corvette" was the track that propelled Prince into global pop superstardom. Written, composed, and produced by Prince, the song seamlessly fused funk, rock, and synth-pop with his signature storytelling—using vivid automotive metaphors to capture the thrill, velocity, and emotional hazards of a fast-moving romance. As one of his most enduring and iconic compositions, it defined the Minneapolis Sound and established Prince as a singular, visionary force in modern music.
