They Could've Charged Us Again

The Witcher 3 Remastered gives existing owners a free upgrade - but the most interesting change might be what happens to the value of a game you bought years ago. Is The Witcher 3 free upgrade worth returning for? We look at combat, character builds, equipment appearance, the included Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine adventures, launch fixes, and why improving an old purchase can make sense for both players and CD Projekt Red. The free owner upgrade and the paid Songs of the Past expansion planned for 2027 are separate offers. Full remaster features depend on platform; the game itself is not free for everyone. This is commentary based on the announcements and referenced footage, rather than a claimed hands-on review. Which older game would you reinstall if its developers gave it this kind of attention?
