Glen Innes New England Tablelands Fly Drive and Walk

We drove through Glen Innes on our way from Stanthorpe to Inverell and had the opportunity to fly the drone out over this historic town from Martins Lookout. Glen Innes is 600km north of Sydney and sits on the New England Tablelands at a height of nearly 3,500 feet above sea level. The winter nights can drop well below freezing point and the town can have occasional light snow falls. In 1991 a standing stone circle ( seen in drone footage)was erected as an acknowledgement of the Celtic flavour of the town.A major Celtic Festival is held every May . Some handsome heritage buildings line the main street. Music : Yeti Music "Homeward" and The Lakes " Bluebird"
